“If a commission by an earthly king is considered a honor , how can a commission by a Heavenly King be considered sacrifice?”
Dear Friends,
I wrote a post the other day on the hurting in the world , and this was before the tragedy in VA. Tech. I know there is so much hurt going on but we Christians are to find ways to lead others to the Lord. God never gives us a task without providing all we need to accomplish that task. In giving us our hearts he gave us the ability to love one another and touch each others lives.
If the Lords love and provisions have changed your life for the better, then hopefully that pure reliance and joy will show through your everyday actions to others . If we as the hearts of our homes can show how God has worked miracles, given us unconditional love, forgiveness and pure joy in him then that is best example we could ever hope to give to win others to Christ.
For "Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, , or seen in me -put it to practice." Phil. 4:9
"Walk in wisdom towards them that are without, redeeming their lives. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer."
Colossians 4:5-6
If we are willing to show our dependence on the Lord for his provisions, witness through our daily lives , families and actions we can and will glorify the Lord. He will give us the right words and circumstances to do it we have to be willing to follow his lead.
Thank you so much Laurel for hosting this week.
Love,
Angel Mama
