In Other Words Tuesday June 5,2007

"What use to make us stumble, God can use to make us stand. What once made us bow our heads in shame, He can use for His glory."

Having a Mary Spirit

Dear Friends,

"The Lord will give strenghth to his people; the Lord will bless his people with Peace . " Psalm 29:11

"But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me. I shall come forth as gold." Job 23:10

In God's word he has given answers to all our questions including , " Why does he allow his children to suffer?" There will always be a reason or a divine purpose to be accomplished and he will be with us every step of our journey.

Sometimes the Lord allows suffering to chasten his children. " For whom the Lord loveth he chaseteneth" Hebrews 12:6 Trials or mistakes we make can bring correction and reproof as well as God can turn any negative situation to his greater good.

We may not understand why we chose the path we did in the past or the mistakes we made but then ended up making us better people for it. He will use it to bring gold into our lives." That the trial of your faith, being more precious then gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ." I Peter 1:7

He allows the storm so that we may learn necessary lessons and so that we will be brought closer in our walk with him.

His resources are adequate and his promises sure. In our weakness and sometimes mistakes and wrong choices is his strength and love.

May you be blessed this week and always. To visit other IOW please visit Loni at Joy in the morning

In his endless love,

Angel Mama

Its not easy to think of our trials as being a correction or chastisment - but that is so true and in the end we can use it for His glory because he is always faithful.
Thank you for sharing.
You asked if it was OK to link to my blog, and of course it is. thanks for asking :)

Just remember that during these storms "The Anchor Holds" (song by Ray Bolts) As long as He is our anchor even in the worse storms we will not stray far from course.

I have to admit that sometimes it is hard for me to understand why we need to go through hard times, but like you said, we are made better through it and He will help us through the rough time.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this week's quote.
Be blessed today and always.
